About Molly
Let’s Reach Your Goals Together
I’ve always had creativity running through my veins since I popped into this world. It’s a family thing, you know? Both my parents and grandparents were overflowing with creative talent, and naturally, it became a part of who I am.
Back in 2013, while working on my ministry degree, I got thrown into the wild world of website building and design. My brain was practically drowning with all the WordPress stuff, but thanks to an “expert” brought in by my professor, I survived the firehose experience. Not only did I conquer the basics, but I even helped my classmates spruce up their own impressive resumes. From there, I lent a hand to friends with all sorts of projects, racking up some pretty sweet freelance experience along the way. The skills I’ve gathered over the years have allowed me to breathe new life into the digital presence and branding of countless ministries.
Isn’t it wild how life takes you on unexpected paths? Web development and design weren’t even blips on my radar, but fate had other plans, and now I’m here, ready to serve ministries, small faith-based businesses, bloggers, eShops, and so much more. My mission? Unveil their unique brand identity and turn their digital dreams into vibrant realities. Welcome to Oak to Eden, the place where magic happens!
My Philosophy
If you can dream it, WE can do it!”
– adapted from Walt Disney.
To know me is to know I love Disney. What I love most about Disney, though, is that special Disney magic where the impossible becomes possible, right before your eyes!
I draw inspiration from the rich history of Walt Disney’s wildly imaginative dreams coming to life through the collaborative efforts of dreamers and doers- just like you and me.
Think of me as your digital fairy godmother! You share your desires and dreams with me and I will make all of those dreams come true. What are you waiting for?
Education & Certifications
B.S. Degree in Worship Leadership
2014
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Worship Leadership in 2014 from Huntington University. Learning the process of web development and design was part of my coursework and where I started to love web development (maybe that love initially started back in my MySpace era circa 2006, but that’s another story…).
Software Solutions (Unofficial) Internship
2016
In 2014, I started serving with a para-church ministry organization. In 2016, I was employed by that organization and placed in a leadership role. That same year (2016) the ministry went through a major rebrand. We redesigned our logo, revamped our social media presence, built an official website for the first time, and even designed merchandise. I was able to take the lead on that project by acting as the liaison between the ministry and Leaf Software Solutions (LSS) of Carmel, Indiana. I would spend several hours each week in the conference room of LSS working with designers, and developers working to ensure the vision our ministry team had came to life.
Certification in Web Development & Design
2021
In 2021, I completed a Web Development and Design course that taught the basics of SEO Optimization, Setting up blogs, eCommerce sites, and Web Design. In this course, I also learned about components of web hosting, domain management, and how to utilize the cPanel on the back end of your site. Additionally, various aspects of coding and security measures, such as implementing SSL, were taught.
